Our robotic makeup application system is designed to give our users an exciting, speedy and very precise stylistic output of their choosing. With this design, our aim is to invigorate the cosmetic application industry through an innovative approach in which the advancements of robotics are utilized for the benefit of individuals that deal with facial cosmetics, or even the average individual at home. Our product will offer a flexible selection of makeup design choices in addition to custom user-created modifications, which will be applied in a manner that saves time through both the speed of application and the consistency of perfection. The computer vision capabilities of our system potentially spark robotic apartment to the cosmetic industry.
The above picture is the CAD model of our project. The robotic arm model is obtained from Ufactor which is our robotic arm supplier. The elevation kit below the robotic arm is designed by our team for multiple purposes: 1. Elevating the robotic arm to the suitable height for makeup application. 2. Contains a mirror that users can see the process of application. 3. placement for Intel realview camera. And picture on the right side shows the dimension of the whole project.
